I/88/5007D dated 4th April, 1989 on the subject mentioned above and to say that the Ministry is of the view that talcum powder in question will not be entitled to the benefits of Notification No. 140/83-C.E., dated 5-5-1983, as amended by Notification No. 224/87-C.E., dated 22-9-1987, if the said talcum powder is affixed with the brand name of a big manufacture who is not" entitled to the benefits of the said notification, regardless of the fact that such product is affixed also with the brand name of the SSI manufacturer and the big manufacturer does not himself manufacture such or similar goods.
