No. 26/2012 dated 30.08.2012 wherein CBEC had implemented 24x7 Customs Clearance for RMS facilitated Bills of Entry to facilitate trade. In the Public Notice No. 26/2012, it was mentioned that on successful implementation and stabilization of Phase I of 24 x 7 operations, further rollout will be intimated. Accordingly, in continuation to the P.N. 26/2012 and as a further measure to facilitate trade and for speedy clearances, it has been decided that delivery of all out of charged goods may be allowed 24 x 7 for both RMS facilitated bills of Entry (Non-Examined Cargo) as well as Non facilitated Bills of Entry (Examined Cargo). Difficulties, if any, faced by the trade/importer/CHA in implementation of the above said 24 X 7 Customs clearance facility may be brought to the notice of the DC/Import Shed.
