Attention of trade and all concerned is brought to Public Notice No. 15/2023 dated 01.09.2023 vide which area of 2250 sq. ft. pertaining to Unit No. 61,62 63 at Cargo Village, KIA, Bengaluru 560300, for the limited purpose of storage and handling under Section 48 of Customs Act, 1962 of such courier consignments of M/s FedEx Express Transportation and Supply Chain Services (India) Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as M/s FedEx) has been specified as Customs area under Section 8(a) and (b) of the Customs Act, 1962. It is hereby ordered that the movement of consignments to be handled for the purpose of Section 48 of Customs Act, 1962 from existing premises of M/s FedEx at Plot No. C-19, Express Cargo Terminal, Survey No.90,180,181,182,783,197, Arasinagunte Village, Devanahalli, Bengaluru - 560 300, to their extended premises at Unit No. 61,62 63, Cargo Village, KIA, Bengaluru 560300, shall be carried out in the following manner: i) Such consignments will be taken out of FedEx Express Courier facilities at Plot No C-19, Express Cargo Terminal, Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru by M/s FedEx after giving due intimation of same to Deputy Commissioner/Assistant Commissioner, Courier Cell, International Courier Terminal, Bengaluru, as per details specified in Annexure A. ii) M/s FedEx shall maintain separate records (preferably electronically) of all such movements and shall submit to the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Courier Cell, International Courier Terminal, Bengaluru, as and when required. ARPT/COUR/GENC/3/2022-COUR-O/O PR COMMR-CUS-AP AND ACC-BENGALURU iii) M/s FedEx will seal the closed body vehicle in which such consignments are loaded with a one-time tamper proof seal in the presence of the Customs officer. At the time of receipt of vehicle at Cargo Village, KIA, Bengaluru, M/s.FedEx will unload the goods after due checking and will intimate to Customs if the seal is found tampered with. iv)M/s FedEx will maintain a record (preferably electronically) of all such consignments received at their premises at Cargo Village, KIA, Bengaluru, in the form annexed at Annexure B. This form will also include the details of handling of such consignments at their premises at Cargo Village, KIA, Bengaluru. v)This Public Notice is valid till the validity of the expiry of CCSP/Custodianship of M/s FedEx as is mentioned under Public Notice No. 32/2021-AP ACC BLR dated 02.11.2021 and subject to further renewal of the same.
