The guidelines regarding procedure to be followed to export mobile phones are as follows: 1. Statutory/ mandatory declarations in shipping bills are to be filled completely, signed and uploaded in e-sanchit. 2. Invoice copy, Purchase Order, Packing List, list of genuine IMEI numbers should be uploaded in e-sanchit. 3. NOC from Manufacturer/ Authorized Dealer/ Retailer of manufacturer of the mobile phones should be uploaded in e-sanchit. 4. No export benefits shall be claimed for Activated / modified mobile phones. MOEF clearance shall be obtained and this NOC shall be uploaded for export of such used/activated/ modified phones. 5. Whenever a shipping bill for export of mobile phones is filed claiming any export incentive, necessary supporting documents MUST be uploaded in e-sanchit. Country of Origin must be established for Drawback/RODTEP claims. Exporter must upload list of IMEI numbers in e-sanchit. Difficulties, if any, faced in this regard may be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Export Assessment Section, Airport and Air Cargo Complex, Bengaluru immediately.
