PUBLIC NOTICE No. 07/2024 Sub : Procedure for delivery of the Arrival/ Departure manifest-reg **** Attention of Shipping lines/Agents, Importers/Exporters, Customs Brokers, Terminal operators, CFSs and all members of the trade is invited to the revised procedure for the filing of Arrival/ Departure Manifest for the vessels. The arrival/departure manifest of the vessels is to be uploaded to the SCMTR PORTAL, but the facility is yet to be operationalised. Hence, for incoming vessels, after obtaining the Rotation number, Cargo Declaration is being uploaded in the ICEGATE Portal. As regards other declarations (Form II, III, IV, V etc.), the same are submitted in duplicate at Imports Department, VCH as mandated. Similarly, hardcopies of all the declarations of EGM are submitted at the Exports Department for issue of Port Clearance and for closure of the manifest. After due consideration of the practical issues in submitting the documents manually, itis hereby decided to allow submission of the copies of IGM/EGM electronically through E-mail to the concerned section(s) official mail IDs as mentioned below w.e.f. 1.03.2024. IGM : [email protected] EGM : [email protected] It is further informed that the PDF copies of the scanned documents, duly attested by the Authorized Signatory, need to be attached to the e-mail. The Rotation No., Vessel Name, ASA name shall be clearly mentioned in the subject column of the mail. Any documents required for closure of the IGM/EGM shall also be sent in the same manner. Wherever, physical documents like Bond, Draft Survey Reports which are required for closure of IGM/EGM the same may be submitted in the Sevottam Counter under acknowledgement. The Port Clearance shall also be issued electronically through e-mail. Any difficulty in the implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.
