Issue of L-6 Licence and CT-2 Certificate to O.N.G.C. projects - regarding Circular No. 36/87 Dated 31-8-1987 [From F. No. 21/19/87-CX.6] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) New Delhi Subject : Issue of L-6 Licence and CT-2 Certificate to O.N.G.C. projects - regarding. O.N.G.C. have at any time a number of simultaneous on-going projects for explorations and exploitation of oil. They are permitted to proccure excisable goods at concessional rates under Notification No. 473/86-CE such excisable goods from one project site to another at short notice. To do this the other project sites have to acquire L. 6 licence and procure CT-2 certificate. 2. Keeping the importance of the activities of the O.N.G.C. in mind, the Board desires that L-6 licence and CT-2 certificate should be issued to O.N.G.C. projects positively within 48 hours of their application.
