Permission to registered exporters to enter into general bond - Amendment to Circular No. 9/86-CX.6 - Regarding Circular No. 21/87 Dated 1-4-1987 [From F. No. 209/41/86-CX.6] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) New Delhi Subject : Permission to registered exporters to enter into general bond - Amendment to Circular No. 9/86-CX.6 - Regarding. A reference is invited to Board's Circular No. 9/86-CX.6, dated 1st April, 1986 issued from Board's F. No. 209/9/86-CX.6 wherein some facilities had been extended to Export Houses. 2. A number of representation have been received by the Board to the effect that on the basis of above Board's Circular permission to export under general bond was being confined to Export Houses only and not extended to all registered exporters. 3. The above Instructions of the Board has since been reviewed and it has since been decided to extend the facility granting under Board's Circular No. 9/86-CX.6 to all registered exporters. In another words merchant exporters may be permitted to execute a general bond for exports under provided the registered exporter is otherwise eligible to execute the bond and subject to the other conditions specified in Board's Circular No. 9/86-CX.6 . 4. The trade should be informed suitably through appropriate trade notice.
