Acquisition proceedings under Chapter XXA of Income Tax Act 1961. - Income Tax - 1245/CBDT

INSTRUCTION NO. 1245/CBDT Dated : April 8, 1979 It has been decided by the Board that the files relating to acquisition proceedings under Chapter XXA of the Income-tax Act, 1961, should be made available to the Audit. However, the Audit have agreed that the audit of such files will be conducted at a fairly high level, namely at the level of Senior Deputy Account General in the same manner as is done in the case of orders placed under Section 271(4A) of the Income-tax Act.
