Disputed Interest - Definition / Legal Terminology - Income Tax

As per Section 89(1)(h) of Chapter IV The Direct Tax Vivad se Vishwas Scheme, 2024 Disputed interest means the interest determined in any case under the provisions of the Income-tax Act, where (i) such interest is not charged or chargeable on disputed tax; (ii) an appeal has been filed by the appellant in respect of such interest;
