Prescribes effective date for the purpose of giving effect to certain changes made, including introduction of new services, by the Finance Act, 2006 Notification No. 15/2006-Service Tax Dated: April 25, 2006 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (A) and clause (2) of sub-section (B) of section 68 of the Finance Act, 2006 (21 of 2006) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of May, 2006, as the date on which the provisions of the said sub-section and the said clause of the said sub-section of the said Act shall come into force.
