Ministry of Commerce and Industry Department of Commerce New Delhi Dated 10 February 2006 S.O.195(E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , the Central Government hereby constitutes a Board called the Board of Approval for the purposes of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members, namely:- 1. Special Secretary to the Government of India Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce; - Chairperson, ex-officio 2. Member (Customs), Central Board of Excise, and Customs, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue; - Member, ex-officio 4. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, (Banking Division) Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs; - Member, ex-officio 5. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce; - Member, ex-officio 6. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion; - Member, ex-officio 7. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology; - Member, ex-officio 8. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Small Scale Industries and, Agro and Rural Industries; - Member, ex-officio 9. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, (Internal Security) Ministry of Home Affairs; - Member, ex-officio 10.
