The Foreign Exchange Management (Adjudication Proceedings and Appeal) Rules 2000 were amended - G.S.R. 511(E) - Foreign Exchange ManagementExtract MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th July, 2005 G.S.R. 511(E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 46 read with Sub-section (1) of Section 16 , Sub-section (3) of Section 17 and Sub-section (2) of Section 19 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendments in the Foreign Exchange management (Adjudication Proceedings and Appeal) Rules, 2000 , namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Adjudication Proceedings and Appeal) Amendment Rules, 2005. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2 . In the Foreign Exchange Management (Adjudication Proceedings and Appeal) Rules, 2000 ,- (a) in rule 4, in sub-rule (9), the word brief shall be omitted, (b) in rule 6, in sub-rule (4), the words within one hundred and eighty days from the date of such appeal shall be added at the end.
