Setting up of a sector specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for textile sector at Butibori Industrial Area, District Nagpur, Maharashtra - S.O. 2975(E) - Special Economic Zone

Government of India Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce) New Delhi, the 24th December, 2006. NOTIFICATION S.O. 2975(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 and after the grant of the letter of approval on 5th April, 2006 under sub section (10) of section 3 , to Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation for setting up of a sector specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for textile sector at Butibori Industrial Area, District Nagpur, Maharashtra, the Central Government on being satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled, hereby notifies the total area 147.04 hectares as Special Economic Zone at Village Pohli, Tahsil-Hingna, District- Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra, comprising of the survey numbers and extent of area given in the table, as Special Economic Zone, namely:- Table Sl.
