To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services and business process outsourcing sector at Village Nagavara, Taluka North Bangalore, in the State of Karnataka. - S.O. 1172(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 25th April, 2013 S.O. 1172(E). -Whereas, M/s. Karle Infra Projects Private Limited, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services and business process outsourcing sector at Village Nagavara, Taluka North Bangalore, in the State of Karnataka; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 , had notified an area of 10.876 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 2870 (E) dated 12th December, 2008 ; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; And whereas, M/s.
