Tahsildars, Kavaratti, Androth, Amini and certain police officers of Lakshadweep entrusted with functions of Customs Officers - 24 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 24 Dated 05/02/1966 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby entrusts to the officers mentioned in column (1) of the Table below the functions of an officer of Customs specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table : Table Designation of Officer Functions under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 (1) (2) Tahsildar, Kavarattip Functions under sections 100 to 108 (both inclusive) and section 110 . Tahsildar, Androth -do- Tahsildar, Amini -do- Sub-Inspector, Kavaratti Functions under sections 100 to 104 (both inclusive), 106 , 107 , 108 and 110 Sub-Inspector, Androth -do- Sub-Inspector, Amini -do- Head Constable and Police Constables, Kavaratti, Androth, Amini, Agatti, Kadmat, Kiltan, Chetlat and Kapleni Functions under sections 100 , 102 , 106 and 110 .
