GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS Notification New Delhi, the 9th September, 2016 S.O.(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section I Of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 Of 2013) , the Central Government hereby appoints 9th September, 2016 as the date on which the provisions of section 227 , clause (b) Of sub-section (1) Of section 242 , clauses (c) and (g) Of sub-section (2) of section 242 , section 246 and sections 337 to 341 (to the extent of their applicability for section 246 ), Of the said Act shall come into force.
