Condition - Agreement between the producer of power and the purchaser for the sale and purchase of electricity generated for project - Amending notification no. 33/2005 Notification No. 38/2005-CE Dated 30/12/2005 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 33/2005-Central Excise, dated the 8th September, 2005, namely :- In the said notification, in condition (ii), for the words "the importer and the purchaser", the words "the producer of power and the purchaser" shall be substituted.
