Central Government notifies an additional area of 4.30 hectares, at Vallancheri and Potheri Villages, Chengalpet Taluk, Kancheepuram District, in the State of Tamil Nadu thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone 15.69.43 hectares - S.O.5348(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 15th October, 2018 S.O.5348(E).- Whereas, M/s. Estancia IT Park Private Limited (formerly M/s. Arun Excello Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., M/s. L T Arun Excello IT SEZ Pvt. Ltd., M/s. L T Chennai Projects Private Limited and M/s. Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Chennai), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for electronic hardware and software including information technology enabled services at Vallancheri and Potheri Villages, Chengalpet Taluk, Kancheepuram District, in the State of Tamil Nadu; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 11.09 hectares and 0.29.93 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 696(E) and S.O. 4094(E) dated 1st May, 2007 26th December, 2017, respectively; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government further approved the request of change of name as under: S.
