I/292 . - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2018 (Ordinance No. 5 of 2018), the Government of Meghalaya hereby appoints the 1st day of February, 2019, as the date on which the provisions of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2018 (Ordinance No. 5 of 2018), except clause (b) of section 7, section 16, section 17, sub-section (1) of Section 19, shall come into force.
