Seeks to amend Notification No. S.O.3755 (E), dated the 27th November, 2017 - S.O. 2691(E) - Indian Law

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th July, 2019 S.O. 2691(E). -The following order made by the President is published for general information:- ORDER In pursuance of clause (1) of article 280 of the Constitution , read with the provisions contained in the Finance Commission (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1951 (33 of 1951), the President is pleased to further amend the order number S.O.3755 (E), dated the 27th November, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 27th November, 2017 , namely:- In the said order,- (a) in paragraph 3, for the words, figures and letters the 30th day of October, 2019 , the words, figures and letters the 30th day of November, 2019 shall be substituted; (b) after paragraph 9, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely:- 9A. The Commission shall also examine whether a separate mechanism for funding of defence and internal security ought to be set up, and if so, how such a mechanism could be operationalised. ; (c) in paragraph 11, for the words, figures and letters the 30th day of October, 2019 , the words, figures and letters the 30th day of November, 2019 shall be substituted.
