Allows export of wheat to Myanmar and Nepal through NAFED and MMTC respectively NOTIFICATION NO 71 (RE-2008)/2004-2009, Dated: December 10, 2008 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 read with Section 3(2) of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) and also read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following addition with immediate effect at the end of Paragraph 2 of Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007 (pertaining to prohibition on export of wheat and wheat products): "2.4 The prohibition imposed by this Notification on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 950 MT of wheat to Myanmar through NAFED. 2.5 The prohibition imposed by this Notification on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 10,000 MT of wheat to Nepal through MMTC." 2.
