Amendment in the notification number S.O. 2833(E), dated 2nd December, 2008- To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Manapakkam and Mugalivakkam Villages, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District in the State of Tamil Nadu MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 20th February, 2009 S.O. 528(E). - The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, (Department of Commerce), number S.O. 2833(E), dated 2nd December, 2008 , notifying the additional area of 0.69.83 hectares at Mugalivakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District Tamil Nadu for setting up of Special Economic Zone for IT/ITES sector, developed by M/s. DLF Info City Developers (Chennai) Ltd. namely:- In the said notification:- (i) the name of the village mentioned in paragraph 3rd i.e. Kittampalayam and Karumathampatti Village, Palladam Taluk Coimbatore District to be read as Mugalivakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. (ii) The name of the village mentioned in paragraph 4th i.e. Manapakkam and Mugalivakkam Villages to be read as Mugalivakkam Village. (iii) The name of the village mentioned in Sl.
