Amendment in the Notification No.12/97-Customs (N.T.) -Inland Container Depots for loading and unloading of goods MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 27th February, 2009 No. 23/2009-Customs (N.T.) G.S.R. 139(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (aa) of sub-section (1) of Section7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.12/97-Customs (N.T.), No. G.S.R.193 (E). dated the 2nd April, 1997, namely:— In the Table to the said notification, against serial number 6, relating to the State of Karnataka, after item (iii), the following item in column (3) and the corresponding entry in column (4) shall respectively be inserted, namely (3) (4) "(iv) Hassan Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods".
