Central Excise Commissionerates - Re-structuring - Date of effect Notification No. 21/97-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 16-7-1997 In Pursuance of clause (ii) of rule 1 of the Central Excise (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 1997, the Central Government hereby notifies that the Central Excise (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 1997, shall come into force on the 16th day of July, 1997.
