Modvat Credit to yarns and fibres on a deemed basis - Effective from 1-9-1996 instead of 1-8-1996 Notification No. 19/96-C.E.(N.T.) Dated 31-7-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 11/96-Central Excises (N.T.), dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :- In the said notification, in para 2, for the figures, letters and words "1st day of August, 1996", the figures, letters and words "1st day of September, 1996" shall be substituted.
