Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. declared as refinery Notification No. 6/96-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 12-3-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 140 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby declares the premises of M/s. Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited at Kuthethoor, via Katipalla, Moodepadav, Mangalore in the State of Karnataka covered by Registration Certificate No. 320607-0098, as refinery, in relation to manufacture of petroleum products falling under Chapter 27 of the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986).
