Modvat Credit - Rule 57J extended to waste of synthetic filament [Sub-heading 5401.10] Notification No. 29/94-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 27-6-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57J of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 351/86-Central Excises, dated the 20th June, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 1,- (i) in column (1), for the words, letters, figures and brackets "and heading Nos. 53.04 (except yarn of vegetable textile fibre; paper yarn)", the words, letters, figures and brackets "and heading Nos. or sub-heading Nos. 53.04 (except yarn of vegetable textile fibre; paper yarn, 5401.10" shall be substituted; (ii) in column (2), for the words, letters, figures and brackets "and heading Nos. 53.04 (except yarn of vegetable textile fibre; paper yarn)", the words, letters, figures and brackets "and heading Nos. or sub-heading Nos. 53.04 (except yarn of vegetable textile fibre; paper yarn), 5401.10" shall be substituted.
