Amendments To Notification No. 84/87-C.E. - Rule 56A Notification No. 24/91-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 56A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 84/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely : - In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against S. No. 13, in column (2), for the words "Artificial staple fibres and tow", the words "Artificial staple fibres and tow, including tops thereof shall be substituted; (ii) after S. No. 13 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "14. Felt, non-wovens, carpets and other textile floor coverings, including floor coverings of felt 56.02, 56.03, 57.02 56.02, 56.03, 57.02 15. Synthetic filament yarn, whether or not textured 54.02, 54.03 54.02, 54.03 16. Artificial filament yarn, whether or not textured 54.04, 54.05 54.04, 54.05.".
