Central Excise (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 1991 Notification No. 21/91-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 11-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules, 1944, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Excise (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 1991. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In rule 2 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, in clause (ii), in sub-clause (A), in item (za), for the word "Faizabad", the words "Faizabad, Sonbhadra, Maunath Bhanjan, Maharaj Ganj, Sidharth Nagar" shall be substituted.
