Central Excise (6th Amendment) Rules, 1990 Notification No. 32/90-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 17-8-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules, 1944, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Excise (6th Amendment) Rules, 1990. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In rule 2 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, in clause (ii), in sub-clause (A), (1) in item (a), after the words "in the district of East Godawari, West Godawari, Krishna, Guntur" the words "Chittoor, Nellore" shall be inserted; (2) in item (b), the words "Chittoor, Nellore" shall be omitted.
