Amending Notification No. 231/87-C.E. and 45/89-C.E. (N.T.) - 13/90 - Central Excise - Non Tariff

Amending Notification No. 231/87-C.E. and 45/89-C.E. (N.T.) so as to extend, - (i) the money credit scheme for ethyl alcohol used in the manufacture of ethyl acrylate monomer and glyoxals; (ii) money credit scheme to sal seed fat and solvent extracted sesame oil used in the manufacture of vegetable products Notification No. 13/90-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 20-3-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57K of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table :- TABLE S. No. 33, for the entry in column (2), the entry "29.16 or 39.06" shall be substituted. (ii) after S. No. 33, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "34 29.12 Glyoxal". 2. 45/89-Central Ex cises (N.T.), dated 11th October, 1989 In the said notification,- (i) in the opening portion, in clause (i),- (a) for the words "fixed vegetable oils", the words "vegetable oils or fats" shall be substituted; (b) after the words "vegetable products falling under sub-heading No. 1504.00", the words "or margarin falling under sub-heading No. 1508.90" shall be inserted; (ii) in condition (i), for the word "oil", in the two places where it occurs, the words "oil or fat, as the case may be," shall be substituted; (iii) in condition (iii) for the words "vegetable products", the words "vegetable products or margarine, as the case may be," shall be substituted; (iv) in the Table,- (a) for the heading for column (2), the heading "Vegetable oils/fats" shall be substituted; (b) after Sl. No. 09 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "10 Solvent extracted sesame oil Rs. 3250 11 Sal-seed fat Rs. 3250".
