Amendment to Notification No. 84/87-C.E. [Rule 56A] Notification No. 25/89-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 17-5-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 56A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 84/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 1,- "(a) in column (2), for the entry "(b) Creamy Snuff", the entry "(b) Preparations containing snuff of tobacco in any proportion" shall be substituted; (b) in column (3), for the figures "2404.90", the figures "2404.60" shall be substituted.
