Rescinds Notification No. 13/71-C.E. - Rule 12 Notification No. 16/89-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 23-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby rescinds with effect from the 24th day of March, 1989 the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 13/71-Central Excises, dated the 25th February, 1971.
