Aerated waters - Rescinding of Notification No. 22/97-C.E. Notification No. 55/97-C.E. Dated 29-8-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 22/97-Central Excise, dated the 29th April, 1997. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of September, 1997.
