Solar Energy Pollution Control equipments - Notification Nos. 205/88-C.E. 78/90-C.E. - Amendments Notification No. 57/95-C.E. Dated 16-3-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S.No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. No. 205/88-Central Excise, dated the 25th May, 1988. In the Table annexed to the said notification,- (i) against S. No. 12, in column (2), for the words "Wind mills and", the words "Wind mills, parts of wind mills and" shall be substituted; and (ii) after S. No.16 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely:- (1) (2) "16A. Turbines for hydro-electric equipment of a capacity not exceeding 15 Mega Watts. 16B Solar lantern.". 2. No. 78/90-Central Excise, dated the 20th March, 1990. In the said notification, in the opening portion, for the words "Schedule hereto annexed and", the words "Schedule hereto annexed and parts thereof," shall be substituted.
