Gases used in the manufacture of Heavy Water Notification No. 139/94-C.E. Dated 14-11-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 7/94-C.E., dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 4, for the entry in column (4), the entry "If used in the manufacture of Heavy Water." shall be substituted.
