Exemption to DMT and PTA - Amendment to Notification No. 24/90-C.E. Notification No. 107/90-C.E. Dated 16-5-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 24/90-Central Excises, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, in column (4), - (i) for the entry against S. No. 1, the entry "15 percent ad valorem" shall be substituted; (ii) for the entry against S. No. 2, the entry "15 percent ad valorem" shall be substituted.
