Effective rates of basic duty for fibres, yarns and fabrics - amendment to Notification No. 47/90-C.E. Notification No. 99/90-C.E. Dated 23-3-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 47/90-Central Excises, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 47, and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "48. 54.02 and 5403 Nylon filament yarn above 750 deniers Rs. 8.50 per kilogram"
