Amendment to Notification No. 133/86-C.E. [Chapter 39] Notification No. 178/89-C.E. Dated 18-9-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 133/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the folowing S. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- "1 3903.10 or 3903.90 Polystyrene and copolymers of styrene Twenty per cent ad valorem "
