Amendment to Notification No. 64/88-C.E. [Chapter 48] Notification No. 118/89-C.E. Dated 27-4-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 64/88-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988, namely: - In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 2, column No. (3), for the words "Paper, paperboard, cellulose wadding and webs of cellulose fibres, coated, impregnated or covered with plastics", the words "Cellulose wadding and webs of cellulose fibres, coated, impregnated or covered with plastics" shall be substituted.
