Rescinding six notifications - 086/89 - Central Excise - TariffExtract Rescinding six notifications Notification No. 86/89-C.E. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely :- (1) No. 74-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1985. (2) No. 158-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986. (3) No. 115-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988. (4) No. 119-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988. (5) No. 187-Central Excises, dated the 13th May, 1988. (6) No. 266-Central Excises, dated the 14th October, 1988.
