Dated 12-1-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 40/85-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - After S. No. 22 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "23. Para-toluic Ester (PT Ester) If consumed within the factory of production in the manufacture of Dimethyle Terephthalate. 24. Methyl Acrylate If consumed within the factory of production in the manufacture of acrylic fibre."
