Aluminium [Chapter 76] Notification No. 275/86-C.E. Dated 24-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 151/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :— In the said notification, — (i) in the Table, for Sl. No. 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) (4) "4. 7603.10 (i) Wire rods produced by manufacturers other than primary producers and in respect of which no credit of duty paid on the ingots or billets used in their manufacture has been taken under rule 56A or rule 57A of the said rules. Rs. 258.50 per tonne. (ii) Wire rods produced by manufacturers other than primary producers. Rs. 2,900/- per tonne."; (ii) the third proviso shall be omitted.
