Plastic and plastic materials Notification No. 268/86-C.E. Dated 24-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 132/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :— In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Sl. No. 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "6. 3904.20 (i) Plastic material commonly known as polyvinyl cloride compounds (PVC compounds); Nil If no credit of the duty paid on the inputs used in the manufacture of such PVC compound has been availed of under rule 56A or 57A of the said rules. (ii) Plastic materials commonly known as polyvinyl cloride compounds (PVC compounds). Thirty per cent ad valorem . ___
