Amends Notification Nos. 133/68-C.E. and 138/86-C.E. Notification No. 226/86-C.E. Dated 3-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) or (Department of Revenue), as the case may be, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 133/68-Central Excises, dated the 22nd June, 1968. In the said notification, in the first paragraph, in clause (a), for the words, letters and figures "sub-heading No. 2710.39 or 2710.49", the words, letters and figures "sub-heading No. 2710.31, 2710.39 or 2710.49" shall be substituted. 2. 138/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Sl. Nos. 3 and 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be substituted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) "3. Clearances of an aggregate not exceeding 4500 tonnes immediately following the clearances specified in Sl. No. 2. Rs. 1000 per tonne. 4. Clearances of an aggregate not exceeding 4500 tonnes immediately following the clearances specified in Sl. No. 3. Rs. 1200 per tonne. 5. Clearances of an aggregate not exceeding 7500 tonnes immediately following the clearances specified in Sl. No. 4. Rs. 1500 per tonne."
