Jigs and fixtures, moulding boxes for metal foundry etc. Notification No. 220/86-C.E. Dated 2-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts jigs and fixtures, moulding boxes for metal foundry, mould bases, moulding patterns, moulds for metal (other than ingot moulds), metal carbides, glass, mineral materials, rubber or plastics, falling under heading No. 84.79 or 84.80 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986), manufactured in a factory and intended for use in the factory in which they are manufactured, from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon which is specified in the said Schedule.
