Exemption to small scale units Notification No. 202/86-C.E. Dated 25-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 175/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :— In the said notification, after paragraph 5 and before Explanation I, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :— "6. Nothing contained in this notification shall apply to the clearances of specified goods for home consumption during the period beginning with the 25th day of March, 1986 and ending with the 31st day of March, 1986 (both days inclusive)."
