This notification amends Notification No.1/64-Customs, dated the 18th January, 1964 10th October 2000. Notification No. 61/2000-Customs (N.T.) GSR (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section, 11 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, for the purposes specified in sub-section (2) of that section; hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No.1/64-Customs, dated the 18th January, 1964, namely:- In the said notification, clauses (v) and (vi) shall be omitted.
