Metal containers, cylinders, bolts, nuts and screws [Chapter 83] Notification No. 153/86-C.E. Dated 1-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 59/86-Central Excises, dated the 10th February, 1986, namely :— In the Table annexed to the said notification,— (i) against S. No. 1, in column (5), in the third proviso, for the word, figures and letter "rule 56A", the words, figures and letters "rule 56A or rule 57A" shall be substituted; (ii) against S. No. 2, in column (4), for the words "Twenty four per cent ad valorem", the words "Twenty per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted; (iii) S. No. 8 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
