Antiseptic perfumed creams Notification No. 126/86-C.E. Dated 1-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts antiseptic perfumed creams, falling under sub-heading No. 3304.00 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986), from so much of the duty of excise leviable thereon which is specified in the said Schedule as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of 20 per cent ad valorem : Provided that the exemption contained in this notification shall apply to only such antiseptic perfumed creams which are manufactured under drug licences issued under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940) and whose retail prices are fixed under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1979, made under section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955).
